I don’t find the sales pitches annoying, I actually find them to be very interesting and of high quality. I like to analyze them, see how they are constructed, hear the hypnotic language and find what techniques can be applied to my team members sales presentations. If you put them all along side each other it’s not to too difficult to figure out the format. For anybody who makes sales presentations its worth attending the event to see what I consider to be sales presentation mastery in action. They are a good example to model. Same goes for Brett’s sales letters.

I didn’t sign up to anything at the event because I never enter into any contract without doing my research first and having time to consider. I also don’t like to make significant financial decisions whilst in a state of heightened excitement. Of course, any skilled professional sales presentation evokes excitement and has an immediate call to action. Regardless of that, there still is the unconditional 100% 30 day guarantee. When I asked Jason the question, I was told that I would be given the same deal if I purchase within 30 days (as if they won’t take my money 4 weeks from now?). I won’t be purchasing until after I allocate the time in my schedule to dedicate to working the program. That won’t be for another 2 weeks. This way I can give it my best focused attention within the 30 day guarantee period and if then it does not work out for me, I can exercise the guarantee and get my money back.

I didn’t learn as much this time as I did at the first WIS I attended as that was my first ever internet marketing event and the learning curve was very steep and mind boggling. At Dream Life a lot of what was said I’d heard before, however it was worth attending because 5 months later my business and I are both in a different place so different information was more relevant to me this time. It was worth sitting through the 3 days of stuff I’d heard before to pick up the couple of new tips that I can now use to make my business a lot of money.

I’m looking forward to more such events for the purpose of meeting more people who share my interest in internet marketing as well as expanding my network. If I’m looking for a person with a particular skill set or resource there are plenty of people at these kinds of events who have the answers.

I find the World Internet Summit events to be of a high quality and the organizers make sure that the speakers are also entertaining.

The Dreamlife Internet Marketing Seminar was just absolutely phenomenal! I made a snap decision to fly to Melbourne (well its my second home at the moment, I live in a beautiful house in Rozelle in Sydney five days a week, and the other two days I find myself living in Melbourne City!) Anyway it one was of the best decisions I have ever made, and as a teacher, coach and mentor to others in the personal development industry I am generally a teacher of personal development principles including getting your headspace right, and sure I am a healer and a teacher in this field, as well as an Internet Marketer; however I still see myself as a student of personal development, and more so Internet Marketing and thus I invest in some of my leisure time in attending these seminars as we are living in a constantly changing and evolving world! There are a few sacrifices, and remember successful people do what unsuccessful people are unwilling to do, and even just picking up one idea when attending seminars will make attending such conferences and events extremely worthwhile and thus dramatically improve the quality of your life – life is so short you’ve got to have fun. I got more value out of the three days I was at Dreamlife than in my three years when I studied Marketing at University – that should tell you something!

There was a lot of juicy content which I have started to apply immediately, and I am mapping out my Internet Marketing success and business plan as we speak – remember you don’t plan to fail you fail to plan. This seminar for me gave me a lot of benefits such as more confidence in being a professional Internet Marketer where I can still do my natural therapies work (http://www.ntpages.com.au/therapist/19237), and run my personal development business (http://www.theprosperitycreator.com) where I help people get started in this business, grow emotionally and apply key universal laws such as the law of attraction into their lives with a strong emphasis on Internet Marketing, and currently I am receiving all my clients via the web; I am not saying this to impress you but to impress upon you that the Internet is a dynamic business tool, and if you get your mental headspace right in tandem with marketing yourself well on the Internet, you are one very happy entrepreneur!

The knowledge I have acquired at DreamLife last weekend is being immediately applied to my existing internet businesses, and I am in the process of creating some more. Having multiple streams of income is absolutely critical to being an Internet Marketer!

It was also good to catch up with my ex-boyfriend unexpectedly, so yes the seminar for me was a mixed bag but overall oh so great! I am looking forward to going to another Internet Marketing conference in London in November, and also attending the World Internet Summit while I am also overseas shortly as I got so much value. Again you’ve got to do things that unsuccessful people are unwilling to do, plus I get to claim my holiday as a business trip and see my family there too and have heaps of fun while getting paid for it :-)

The sales pitches at this event may have been a little in your face. Its always great that the speakers always went through their sales messages as soon as they built effective rapport with you, and were able to get you into a peak state at the same time. The only pet hate that I had is that you had to sign up straight away. I agree with Leanne’s comments on this, I make decisions quickly however I don’t make them that quickly – I need time to actively research and do my due diligence, like with all business expenses and decisions. Otherwise it is great to listen to the various speakers sales pitches as it taught me a lot about street smart marketing – not textbook theory. And it was also great in expanding my network of contacts, and I have also gained some more work through this!

Apart from inheriting a nasty cold and still have it (I normally don’t get sick!) this seminar gave great value, and it was a great investment of my time, money and energy! My company will thrive as I will be able to solve more problems and help more people which is what life is absolutely about :-) If you are going into this business just for the money, I suggest you exit real quick! It is not about you or the money it is about being of service to other people! If you help enough people get what they want, you get what you want by default!

Look out London in November and the rest of the world in 2010 and beyond – LOL!

Justy :-)
