Internet Marketing's #1 Forum - The Warrior Forum (link opens in a new window)

The Warrior Forum is Internet Marketing’s #1 Forum.  On the forum you are able to network with other Internet Marketers and keep up to date with the latest trends online.  The forum also features a special members only section where more private, industry insider secrets are shared by very experienced online marketers.

Another great feature, one which is purported to have launched $20K / month online businesses, is the Warrior Special Offer (WSO).  For a small fee you are able to post special offers to members of the forum, and this fee recurs if you want to keep bumping your offer up to the front of the queue. Given that the forum consists exclusively of online marketers this may be an ideal way to gain access to a large list of qualified buyers in the Internet Marketing niche.

The forum has a strictly enforced code of ethics so it is important to read them before posting.  Also, since WSOs are vetted prior to publishing, it is recommended that before you make offers you first build up a good reputation by answering questions on the forum. Many of the biggest Internet Marketers in the world have at one time or another participated in the Warrior Forum and this forum is essential networking if you are serious about business online.

Email Marketing by MailChimp (link opens in a new window)

Email auto-responders are the bread and butter of many Internet Marketers.  Another provider of this functionality that is very popular is AWeber however they do not have an unlimited time free-trial option at the time of writing, but currently MailChimp does.

MailChimp offers all of the functionality of an email auto-responder, subscriber database and subscriber management facilities with their free account.  Furthermore there is no limit to the amount of time you can use this free account for, only a limit to the number of subscribers (500) and emails sent (3000).  Their only other proviso is that emails sent from free accounts are appended with a promotion for MailChimp in the footer.

The templates that MailChimp provides for creating HTML emails are very well designed and come in a huge range of styles.  Especially for value conscious marketers, MailChimp provides a great way to get started with squeeze pages and the use of email auto-responders for email marketing campaigns.

Unlimited Website Hosting by Hostgator (link opens in a new window)

HostGator is a US based web-hosting provider for which many of even their low-cost plans allow multiple domains.  This means that an Internet Marketer can host all of their websites from a single hosting account with obvious cost benefits over the maintaining multiple hosting accounts.

On the down-side, unlimited plans use a server shared with many other users with similar hosting plans which invariably results in these servers hosting very large numbers of websites.  This can sometimes result in slow load times, especially during the peak-usage times in the US.  This limitation can be overcome easily however, through the use of a content-delivery-network like Amazon Web Services, or by upgrading to a more expensive hosting package, and moving to a dedicated server or virtual dedicated server.  All of these options are explained more fully in the tutorial on servers in the tutorials section of this website.

HostGator has an extensive range of functionality including a WordPress installation wizard that makes installing the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) even easier. WordPress CMS is open source and freely available to all and has many plug-ins and themes that make it a favorite of many webmasters and bloggers.

HostGator currently uses only Linux (LAMP) servers but is currently testing Windows servers, although they are not available yet, so if you’re looking for unlimited domain .Net hosting I’d suggest you have a look at IX WebHosting instead.

New Domain registrations by GoDaddy (link opens in a new window)

GoDaddy is one of the cheapest places to register domain names, although if you’re after an Australasian country domain you should use CrazyDomains instead.  The greatest thing about GoDaddy is that their domain registrations are a loss-leading product, which is something they are able to do because they will make you many offers of complementary products during the order process.  N.B. you do not need any of these additional products, although some might consider the privacy option useful.

GoDaddy also offer website hosting, website design and plethora other services related to websites and web hosting such as shopping carts and SSL certificates.  While they are useful services, the loss-leading domain registration means they can be more expensive than bargain alternatives, however their service quality appear to be inline with premium and more costly service providers.  For people who prefer to have everything handled by the one provider GoDaddy are a very reliable one-stop shop for all sorts of website related products.

Comprehensive Business Training Course Videos by Brian Tracy (link opens in a new window)

Brian Tracy is the leading sales trainer, business coach and personal development strategist alive today.  This online training program contains hundreds of video presentations by Brian, organized according to topics and presented in the order appropriate for your current level of understanding.

Business Growth Strategies contains all of Brian’s executive leadership and sales training programs in addition to personal development and sales management training to name just a few.  Each of the videos are between 15-30 minutes long and are accompanied by a workbook that guides you through the lessons and evaluates your comprehension.

The ability to add comments to the videos or on the main page after logging in gives the online training an element of collaboration that further enhances the site usability.  Bonus audio downloads, eBooks and a private blog written by Brian himself make this an amazing training environment to learn about the skills you will need to succeed in business whether online or offline.

The videos are available in HD or normal quality where bandwidth is low and even as a heavy consumer of these videos I have never had any trouble watching the low-quality version without them stopping to buffer.  There is currently an offer to trial the site for 30 days for $1, which is extraordinary value considering attending a single weekend seminar with Brian costs around $3,000.   This is the best online training resource I have ever come across and I urge you to give Business Growth Strategies a try.
