Brett McFall
Brett McFall is one of the originators of the World Internet Summit and prior to getting involved in Internet Marketing was a copywriter in Sydney Australia. As a copywriter Brett became very good at one of the key skills in Internet Marketing and that is the creation of persuasive text. The sales page for World Internet Summit is a great example of the way a long sales letter is used to convince prospects to take action and become clients. Because the internet was designed originally a text based medium the skills of a copywriter are essential for success online.

Seven Steps To Success Online
Success online is a system according to Brett who in his presentation describes the seven steps he recommends to creating a profitable online business. Here they are:
- Do your market research and find a hungry niche where people are going online to solve a problem
- Create a product that gives your target market what they’re looking for
- Create a powerful sales message using a letter format e.g. scrapbookingprofits.com
- Design a simple website that converts prospects in to buyers
- Bring traffic to your site using search engines, both organic through SEO & PR and paid through PPC
- Use Email to convert more customers
- Have an army of people sell your product for you i.e. utilize affiliates to help you market your product
One of the corollaries of Brett’s method is to focus on what you’re good at and outsource the rest. He sums this up in the saying “You Want To Be The General Of The Army; Not The Soldier In The Trenches.”
Brett has been very gracious and kind in my dealings with him and I personally recommend him both as a coach and someone worth doing business with. He runs a coaching program called Warp Speed. The people on his course call themselves the Warpies. Brett McFall is also the author of the book “Make Money While You Sleep”.
