He also suggests looking in to data on the buying keywords that indicate a searcher is seriously considering a purchase such as ‘how to’, ‘learn’, ‘lessons’, ‘tips’ & ‘review’.

For SEO Mark Ling recommends using a keyword density of 1 – 4% meaning 5 uses of the keyword in a 500 word article. Also getting trusted back links from .edu and .gov sites. He also suggests the use of the paid service AMAutomation.com to submit articles with the correct keyword density and a link back to your site to blogs that require content. For surveying possible niche markets he suggests doing surveys using surveymethods.com, and that you’re better to break up long emails in to parts such as making them a six-part mini course rather than one long newsletter. To drive traffic Mark suggests being interviewed by others, posting in forum member areas, commenting on blogs, doing cross promotions with complementary product vendors and using press releases.
